Jens Risom Furniture: Functional Danish Modern Design. Jens Risom (1916–2016) was a Danish-American furniture designer who helped introduce Scandinavian modernism to the United States. After studying in Copenhagen, he moved to America in 1938 and worked briefly with Hans Knoll before establishing his own influential practice.
