- Overall good vintage condition. The upholstery on the chair is constructed almost like a slipcover, designed to pull tightly around the edges. At some point, it appears to have loosened, and a previous owner added a few staples to secure it. The chair is completely usable as-is; however, under close inspection, the staples are visible. Given that this is the original upholstery—now over 60 years old—we would recommend reupholstering if you’re looking for a more refined finish.
