Exceptional Danish Modern teak dining set designed by Hans Olsen, featuring his ingenious space-saving chair design in which the chairs tuck neatly into the perimeter of the table.

This is a particularly desirable and less commonly seen version of Olsen’s iconic dining set. Rather than the more frequently encountered four-chair configuration, this example includes six chairs, all in the distinctive high-back design. When pushed in, the sculptural chair backs follow the contour of the table, creating a remarkably cohesive and compact silhouette.

The round teak dining table also features an integrated extension leaf, allowing the table to expand from its compact round configuration into a larger dining surface comfortably accommodating all six chairs. The leaf stores within the table, preserving the clean design without requiring separate leaf storage.
