- This piece is in very good vintage condition. There are minor imperfections consistent with age, including a small chip to one corner. The finish is not perfectly smooth throughout, but all burl veneer panels are secure and well adhered. The credenza retains its original vintage finish, which has developed a warm patina over time. While the piece could certainly be refinished to achieve a more uniform “like new” surface, we feel the existing finish adds character and authenticity to the design. Because this is such a special piece, we prefer to leave that decision to the next owner. As it sits today, the credenza is structurally sound and ready to be placed and enjoyed immediately. less
