Description: This is an iconic, original Eames Lounge Chair designed by Charles and Ray Eames for Herman Miller. Featuring molded plywood shells and tailored leather cushions mounted on a cast aluminum base. The chair and ottoman are part of the permanent collections at institutions like New York's MOMA and the Art Institute of Chicago, and are widely considered a significant design of the 20th century. Both chair and ottoman are stamped with a manufacturing date of April 1, 1976.

Condition: This piece is in used-vintage condition. The leather shows signs of wear and use consistent with age. There are tears, cracks, rips and worn-through leather throughout, especially on the seat and ottoman (pictured). The bent plywood frames have scratches, scuffs, chips in the finish, fading and wear throughout. The aluminum frames have scratches, scuffs, chips, oxidation, paint marks and general wear throughout.
