Mid 20th Century “La Verónica” Bullfight Lithograph

$210.00

Description: This framed and matted print portrays a bullfighting scene—a matador in action, skillfully maneuvering with a red cape as a bull charges. The vibrant colors of red, gold, green, orange, and pink are accented by the pale blue matting. The decorative frame is molded plaster painted to look like wood. I cannot make out the signature. This piece is titled “La Verónica” number E46 in the series.

Dimensions: 26.375” W x 1.5” D x 35” H

Condition: This piece is vintage and a base level of wear is to be expected. The molded plaster frame has cracks, chips, and some chunks missing throughout. There is foxing present between the glass and the matte (photographed). The piece has not been inspected outside of its frame, but appears to just show normal wear with age. I happen to love the wear and chips missing in the frame, giving it an authentic old and loved feeling. This piece can be hung and used as-is. Please see photos for full condition details.
