Description: This Mid 20th Century framed abstract painting is by Cleveland, Ohio artist H Norman Schnepf and titled “Emerging Solids I”. It was featured at the 45th annual May Show at The Cleveland Museum of Art in 1963. This painting features bright and bold, abstract forms in colors and hues of yellow, cream, blue and green. It is signed in the bottom, right hand corner.
Dimensions: 48.5” W x 1.25” D x 41.5” H
Condition: This piece is vintage so based level of wear is to be expected. The frame has scratches, scuffs, dents chips, and a little separation at the joints. Along the bottom left-hand side of the frame there is a crack in the frame (photographed). The painting itself has wear along the edges and chips in the paint. There are also minor discolored age spots throughout the painting (photographed). The hanging wire has come loose and needs re-screwed into the back of frame.
